NASA probe makes history with closest-ever approach to the Sun

The US space office has affirmed its Parker Sun based Test is protected subsequent to making the nearest way to deal with the Sun at any point recorded by a human-made object.
The test passed simply 6.1 million kilometers (3.8 million miles) over the Sun's surface on December 24, the Public Air transportation and Space Organization (NASA) expressed almost immediately Friday.
It flew into the Sun's external air — known as the crown — "at a blasting 430,000 miles each hour [692km/h] — quicker than any human-made object has at any point moved", the office revealed.
NASA said its group had gotten a guide signal late on Thursday, affirming that the test had made its methodology effectively and was working typically.
"Flying this near the Sun is a notable second in humankind's most memorable mission to a star," Nicky Fox, top of the Science Mission Directorate at NASA base camp in Washington, DC, said in an explanation.
